AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2, SERIES OF 1957, OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF CATARMAN, CAMIGUIN SUBPROVINCE, MISAMIS ORIENTAL, COMPELLING OWNERS OF ASTRAY OR DOMESTICATED ANIMALS TO IMPOUND THEM.
Be if ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin Subprovince, Misamis Oriental, Philippines, that:
Section 1
That owners of astray of domesticated animals like hogs, sheep, goats, horses, carabaos, and cows must impound them.
Section 2
That astray or domesticated animals enumerated is Section I caught inside the plantation like banana, camote, cassava, and all other agricultural plantations shall be charge in the amount of FIVE PESOS (P5.00) per animal caught.
Section 3
That astray or domesticated animals enumerated in Section I caught outside agricultural plantations shall be charge in the amount of THREE PESOS (P3.00) per animal caught.
Section 4
REPEAL. Any other ordinance or parts thereof which is inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance, is hereby repealed.
Section 5
PENALTY: Any owner or owners of astray or domesticated animals enumerated above found violating any section of this ordinance shall be penalized by a fine of not more than TWENTY PESOS (P20.00), or imprisonment of not less than TEN DAYS (10) or both at the discretion of the court.
Section 6
EFFECTIVETY: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
