AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7 SERIES OF 1980, PARTICULARLY SECTIONS 3 AND 5, RE: ASTRAY ANIMALS.
Section 1
This ordinance amends Sections 3 and 5 of Ordinance No. 7, series of 1980.
Section 2
Section 3 of the above mentioned ordinance is hereby amended, to read as follows:
“That any violator of this ordinance shall be fined of not less than P100.00, plus P5.00 daily subsistence, or an imprisonment of not less than 30 days, or both, at the discretion of the court.”
Section 3
Section 3 of the above-mentioned ordinance is hereby amended, to read as follows:
“That out of the penalty, fifty (P50.00) pesos of which shall be given to the private person, who shall catch the astray animals; twenty-five (P25.00) pesos, to the municipality; and twenty-five (P25.00) pesos, the barangay, respectively.”
Section 4
This ordinance shall take effect after its approval.
