Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin, Philippines, that:
Section 1
All businessmen within this jurisdiction whose capital is from two thousand pesos or more, and including carenderia owners even the capital does not reached two thousand pesos, are required to own and possess fire extinguisher to be placed in the store and in the carenderia ready for use in case fire may brake within the business premises.
Section 2
Any store owner or carenderia owner found without fire extinguisher shall be fined in the amount of not more than fifty pesos and not less thirty pesos, and both imprisonment of not more than fifteen days and not less seven days, or both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
Section 3
Any ordinance whose previsions are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4
That this ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
