AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT ALL PEOPLE WITHIN THIS JURISDICTION TO DEFECATE OUTSIDE THE TOILET AND OR ALONG THE SEASHORE.
Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin, that:
Section 1
INTRODUCTION: It is the prime duty of every citizen of this country to keep his environment or surrounding clean and wholesome. And in order to support the objectives in this New Society and in the fulfillment of General Order Number 13 of President Ferdinand E. Marcos, this ordinance is passed by this Body.
Section 2
It shall be unlawful for any to defecate outside the toilet, along the seashore, along the river, along the brook, and in the pond.
Section 3
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw human waste, dead animals, or anything that may cause unhealthful annoyance to the public at the sea or seashore, or river, or brook or in pond.
Section 4
PENALTY: Any person found violating any of the provision of this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in the amount of not more than twenty pesos and not less than ten pesos, or and imprisonment of not less than five days and not more than ten days, or both at the discretion of the court.
Section 5
EFFECTIVITY: This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
