AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TWO OR MORE PERSONS RIDING ON THE SAME BICYCLE AT THE SAME TIME AND RIDING ON A BICYCLE AT NIGHT TIME WITHOUT HEADLIGHT.

Section 1

That it is prohibited for two or more persons to ride on the same bicycle at the same time, except the following:

(1)  Husband and wife ; or

(2)  Father and son; or

(3)  Father and daughter; or

(4)  Mother and daughter; or

(5)  Mother and son; or

(6)  Brother and brother; or

(7)  Brother and sister; or

(8)  Sister and sister.

Section 2

In cases of emergency, two or more persons not included under Section 1 of this ordinance is also exempted from the prohibition.

Section 3

That it is prohibited to ride on a bicycle at night time without headlight.

Section 4

That any person or persons caught riding on a bicycle in violation of any provision of this ordinance shall be fined of not less than Five Pesos (P5.00) , and not more than Twenty-Five Pesos (P25.00), or on imprisonment of not less than Five Days (5) and not more than Ten Days (10), or both fine and imprisonment upon the discretion of the court.

Section 5

That any existing ordinance whose provisions are inconsistent with any of the provisions of this ordinance is hereby repealed.

Section 6

This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon the approval.
