AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6 SERIES OF 1975.
BE IT ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman, Camiguin:
Section 1
That the Electric Light consumers shall first get a permit from the Office of the Mayor before they are installed electric light in their respective residence.
Section 2
That the payment of electric light connection shall be Fourteen pesos and fifty centavos (P0.50) per fluorescent per month.
Section 3
That consumers having home appliances which makes one of the electricity like television set, should pay ten pesos (P10.00); stereos/amplifiers, one peso (P1.00) per month. The number of outlets must be with the permission from the Office of the Mayor.
Section 4
That it is prohibited to have a connection of fluorescent that is note than 20 watts; the use of bulbs of any kind and to use the electric iron;
Section 5
That any light consumers who fail to pay their obligations after a lapse of two months, would be disconnected after the proper notification of the disconnection.
Section 6
That any light consumer who wish to have his/her light connection re-installed, shall secure a new permit from the Office of the Mayor with a payment of P5.00 for registration fee and advance payment for one month depending on the number of light connection be wishes to have.
Section 7
That any person or persons found violating this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of no less than Fifty pesos (P50.00) and not more than Two Hundred pesos (P200.00) or an imprisonment of no less than 30 days and not more than two months or both at the discretion of the court.
Section 8
That any ordinance inconsistent with this ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 9
That this ordinance shall take effect on April 1, 1980.
