1987 ORDINANCE NO. 9

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING, CONTROLLING, AND IMPOSING FEES FOR BETAMAX PROPRIETORS FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.


Art. I This ordinance shall be known as the Betamax Ordinance of 1987.


Art. II Section 1. All Betamax owners in this municipality, who own Betamax unit or units for commercial purposes, should register their units with the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.


Section 2. A Betamax owner or proprietor, who owns a Betamax unit, for commercial purposes, should pay an annual fee of TWO HUNDRED PESOS (P200.00) to the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.


Section 3. Obscene or bold and crime-inducing scenes shows should not be allowed.


Art. III- Penalty. Any violation of any section this ordinance shall subject the violator to a fine of not less than FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P500.00), or an imprisonment of not more than six (6) months, or both, at the discretion of the court.


Art. IV Repealing Clause, Previous ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with any part of this Ordinance are hereby repealed accordingly.


Art. V Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect 15 days after its approval.
