AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING SOUND SYSTEM OWNERS OR OPERATORS, TO REGISTER THEIR SOUND SYSTEMS WITH THE OFFICE OF THE TREASURER AND TO PAY A PERMIT FEE.
Section 1
This ordinance shall be known as Sound System Ordinance, for 1989.
Section 2
All sound system operators in the municipality of Catarman, should register with the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.
Section 3
The registration fee of P20.00 and a permit fee of P200.00 annually or P50.00 per quarter should be imposed, for the operators from Catarman.
Section 4
Transient sound system operators are required to pay P50.00 for every performance.
Section 5
PENALTY. Any person violating this ordinance shall be fined of not less than One Hundred (P100.00) pesos nor more than Five Hundred (P500.00) pesos, or an imprisonment of not less than One (1) month nor more than two (2) months, or both, at the discretion of the court.
Section 6
EFFECTIVITY. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
