    1989 ORDINANCE NO. 17

    AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING THE USE OF THE GOVERNMENT BELL IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.


    Section 1

    This ordinance shall be known as municipal bell ordinance of 1989.


    Section 2

    Only the policeman guard is authorized to ring the bell.


    Section 3

    The municipal bell should only be used for:


    a. Telling the time

    b. When fire occur

    c. When there’s imminent danger of being stacked by an enemy

    d. When the police are having a dry run in repulsing enemy attack, in which case, the occupants of the municipal building should be informed in advance.


    Section 4

    Penalty. Anyone found guilty of violating this ordinance shall suffer an imprisonment of not more than 90 days or not less than 20 days, or a penalty of not more than P500.00 or less than P100.00, or both, at the discretion of the court,


    Section 5

    Repealing Clause. All ordinance or part/parts thereof, in contravention with this ordinance, are accordingly modified.


    Section 6

    Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
