AN ORDINANCE LEVYING MUNICIPAL LICENSE FEES ON CINEMATOGRAPHIC SHOWS AND OTHER KINDS OF SHOWS TO BE SHOWN IN THIS MUNICIPALITY.
Be It ordained by the Honorable Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin Subprovince, Misamis Oriental, that:
Section 1
There shall be levied the sum of –
a.) Five (P5.00) pesos per showing on ordinary days;
b.) Ten (P10.00) pesos per showing on day time during the town fiesta of this municipality, on August 15 and 16;
c.) Ten (P10.00) pesos per showing in the evening during the town fiesta of this municipality, on August 15 and 16.
Section 2
PENALTY: Any person or persons found violating any of the provisions of his Municipal Ordinance shall be penalized by a fine of not less than Five (P5.00) pesos and no more than fifty (P50.00) pesos or an imprisonment of not less than five (5) days and not more than twenty (20) days or both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
Section 3
Any provision of any Municipal Ordinance previously passed inconsistent with any of the Provisions of this Ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 4
EFFECTIVITY: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
