AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A DULY LICENSED BARRIO COCKPIT WITHIN THIS JURISDICTION TO HOLD A THREE DAYS COCKFIGHTING AFTER THE BARRIO FIESTA CELEBRATION.
Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin Subprovince, Misamis Oriental, that:
Section 1
Any owner or proprietor of a duly licensed barrio cockpit shall be granted or allowed to hold cockfighting for a period of three days after its fiesta celebration.
Section 2
Any owner or proprietor of any cockpit who shall allow his cockpit to be used in cockfighting after the celebration of a barrio fiesta where his cockpit is situated without securing a license shall be fined of not less than P50.00, nor more than 30 days, or both upon the discretion of the court.
Section 3
Any ordinance or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its arrival.
