AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A MUNICIPAL LICENSE FEE TO GAFFER, PROMOTER, BET-TAKER OR REFEREE IN COCKFIGHTING OF A LICENCE COCKPIT.
Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman Camiguin, now assembled that:
Section 1
That only license gaffer, promoter, bet-taker. Or referee in cockfighting is allowed to act as gaffer, promoter, bet-taker or referee in license cockpit.
Section 2
Any person or persons who desires to act as gaffer, promoter, bet-taker, or referee in cockfighting is a duly license cockpit shall pay a municipal license, for gaffer, five pesos; for promoter ten pesos; for bet taker ten pesos, and for referee ten pesos annually.
Section 3
That the license issued to gaffer, promoter, bet-taker, or referee shall be renewed every year on his birthmonth.
Section 4
Any violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than thirty pesos and not more than fifty pesos and in case of insolvency, shall suffer an imprisonment of not less than five days and mot more than ten days.
Section 5
That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
