AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE ANY COCKPIT ESTABLISHMENT WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATARMAN, PROVINCE OF CAMIGUIN TO PLACE IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE WITHIN THE COCKPIT AREA, THROUGH ITS PRESIDENT A TALLY BOARD TO TALLY ALL COCKFIGHTS HELD IN A COCKFIGHTING DAY.
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman, Camiguin, Philippines, that:
Section 1
It shall be the duty of the President of any cockpit establishment to place a tally board in conspicuous place within the cockpit fighting area.
Section 2
It shall be the duty of the President to assign his employee to tally every consummated cockfight in the tally board.
Section 3
It shall be the duty of the President of his authorize representative to turn over to the municipal treasurer or to his authorize collector the corresponding amount share of the government per total cockfights in a given day or to turn over the said share to the office of the municipal treasurer the following day.
Section 4
Failure of the President of the Cockpit to comply the provisions of this ordinance shall suffer the penalty of not less than fifty pesos and not more than one hundred pesos, or imprisonment of not less than ten days and not more than one month at the discretion of the court.
Section 5
Any existing municipal ordinance whose provisions are in consistent with the provisions of this ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 6
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
