A FISHING ORDINANCE OF 1993.
Section 1
This ordinance shall be known as fishing ordinance of 1993.
Section 2
All fishermen are prohibited to use search light, flash lights and alike for fishing.
Section 3
Fishing boats which come first to the spot or schools of fish shall have the right to gather/catch such fish.
Section 4
Transient fishing boats are prohibited to enter the municipal waters of Catarman without proper identification marks.
Section 5
Unlicensed transient fishing fishing boats are likewise prohibited to enter the municipal waters of Catarman, Camiguin.
Section 6
Penalty. Any violation of this ordinance shall subject the violator to a fine of not less than P2,500.00, or an imprisonment of not less than six (6) months, or both, at the discretion of the court.
Section 7
Repealing Clause. All previous ordinances of parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed and/or rescinded.
Section 8
Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
