AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING PEOPLE TO BUY OR BURN, NOT TO THROW IN THE SEA, IN THE RIVER, IN THE BROOK, IN THE CANAL, OR ELSEWHERE BODIES OF DEAD ANIMALS OR ANY THING THAT MAY CAUSE FOUL ODORS.
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman Camiguin now assembled, that:
Section 1
To be sanitary, bodies of dead animals or anything that may cause foul order be buried or burn by the owner.
Section 2
It is unlawful for any person or persons to throw in the sea, in the river, in the brock, in the canals, or elsewhere of anything that may cause foul odor.
Section 3
Person or persons caught violating the provision of this ordinance shall be fine of not more than fifty pesos (P50.00) and not less than thirty pesos (P30) or imprisonment of not more than ten (10) days and not less than five days (5), or both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
Section 4
That any ordinance whose provisions are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
