AN ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS ANTI-SOUND POLLUTION.
BE IT ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman, Camiguin, sitting as a constituent body, the enactment of the following: That:
Section 1
It is unlawful for any person, natural or juridical, to make any noise or irksome sound through the use of a sound system, or any other device of like nature, from 12:00 o’clock high noon to 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon and from 10:00 o’clock in the evening to 4:00 o’clock in the morning the day following:
Section 2
REPEALLED CLAUSE: Any ordinance inconsistent with the aforegoing previsions is hereby repealed or modified accordingly;
Section 3
PENALTY: Any violation of this ordinance shall constitute a fine to the offender on the amount of not less than P50.00 and not more than P100.00, or an imprisonment of not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the Court;
Section 4
EFFECTIVITY: This shall take effect immediately.
