    1988 ORDINANCE NO. 8

    AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL HOUSEHOLDS TO PROVIDE THEIR SANITARY TOILET.


    Section 1

    This ordinance shall be known as the Sanitary Toilet ordinance of 1988.


    Section 2

    Every household in the community should provide itself with a sanitary toilet.


    Section 3

    The toilet to be provided should at least be a water-sealed toilet.


    Section 4

    Toilets, like pit or latrine, or antipolo should not be allowed, as this kind of toilets is unhealthful, as it serves as the fertile breeding ground for flies that produce billions of maggots, that later on will become flies.


    Section 5

    Penalty. Violators of this ordinance will suffer a fine of one hundred pesos, or an imprisonment of five (5) days, or both, at the discretion of the court.


    Section 6

    All ordinances or part/parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby amended, revoked, or rescinded, as the case may be.


    Section 7

    Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days upon its approval.
