AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 7, SERIES OF 1947, KNOWN AS “BUILDING PERMIT".
Section 1
Any person or persons who shall construct and/or build a house within this municipality, shall secure permit from the Office of the Mayor and shall pay the building permit fee in the Office of the Municipal Treasurer based on the kind and quality of building to be constructed, the rates are as follows:
(a) With cement - P10.00
(b) Without cement but with strong materials - P 5.00
(c) With mix materials - P 3.00
(d) With bamboo materials - P 1.00
(e) With mix materials - P 2.00
Section 2
Any person or persons who shall construct and/or build a house violate the above provisions shall be fined and/or an imprisonment as follows:
Those that shall violate paragraph (a) shall be fines of not less than P10.00, and not more than P50.00, and/or an imprisonment of not more than 20 days upon the discretion of the court.
Those that shall violate paragraph (b) shall be fined of not less than P5.00 and not more than P25.00, and or with an imprisonment of not more than 20 days, upon the discretion of the court.
Those that shall violate paragraph (c ) shall we fined of not less than P3.00 and not more than P15.00 and /or with imprisonment of not less than 5 days and not more than 20 days or both upon the discretion of the court.
Those that shall violate paragraph (d) & (e) shall be fined of not less than P2.00 and not more than P5.00, and/or with an imprisonment of not less than 5 days and not more than 20 days, or both upon the discretion of the court.
Section 4
That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
