1968 ORDINANCE NO. 5

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY PERSON OR PERSONS OCCUPYING THE ROOMS IN THE PUBLIC MARKET TO RAISE PIG OR PIGS, DOG OR DOGS, CHICKEN OR OF SIMILAR KIND, AND TO KEEP FIGHTING ROOSTER OR FIGHTING ROOSTERS WITHIN THE ROOM AND INCLUDING THE PREMISES THEREIN.


Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin, that:


Section 1

PURPOSES:  To keep the market place and the environment clean and to avoid nuisance.


Section 2

It is unlawful for any occupant or occupants of the market room or rooms to raise pig or pigs, dog or dogs, chicken or of similar kind, and to keep fighting rooster or fighting roosters within the market room or rooms and within the premises.


Section 3

Any occupant or occupants of the market room or rooms, who desires to stock pig or pigs, and or chicken or of similar kind for purposes of killing for the use of the family or of the carrenderia, shall keep their pig or pigs, and or chicken or of similar kind in the laughter house, not in the room or rooms of the occupant or occupants:


Section 4

Any occupant or occupants of the market room or rooms fond violating this ordinance shall be fine of no less than twenty pesos (P20.00) , and no more than fifty pesos (P50.00), or an imprisonment of no less than ten days (10), and no more than thirty days (30), or both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.


Section 5

Any ordinance or ordinances whose provision or provisions is/are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance is/are hereby repealed.


Section 6

This Ordinance shall take effect on April 1, 1968.
