AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY ONE-HALF OR ONE PERCENT OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF REAL PROPERTIES SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATARMAN, PROVINCE OF CAMIGUINI, PAYABLE IN FOUR QUARTERLY INSTALLMENTS.
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman, Camiguin, now assembled, that:
Section 1
Effective upon approval of this ordinance all real property owners whose properties are situated in the municipality of Catarman, province of Camiguin, shall pay one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) of the assessed value of his/her property, payable in four quarterly installments, as follows:
For the 1st installment on or before March 31 each year.
For the 2nd installment on or before June 30 each year.
For the 3rd installment on or before September 30 each year.
For the 4th installment on or before December 31 each year.
Provided that, for every month of delinquency, there shall be imposed a penalty of two percent (2%) a year.
Section 2
Any ordinance whose provisions are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3
That this ordinance shall take effect ten days after its approval.
