    1960 ORDINANCE NO. 11

    AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PERSON OR PERSONS, MALE OR FEMALE, UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE TO DRINK TUBA AND ANY OTHER ALCOHOLIC DRINK EXCEPT UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES ARE ALLOWED BY PHYSICIAN.


    Be it ordained by the Municipal Councilor of Catarman, Camiguin Sub-province, Misamis Oriental that:


    Section 1

    No person or persons, male or female, under 21 years of age are allowed to drink tuba or any other alcoholic drink.


    Section 2

    Exempting Circumstances: Person or persons, male or female, under 21 years of age are allowed to drink tuba and any other alcoholic drink when permitted by any duly licensed physician. Provided, however, that said person or persons, male or female, shall present to tuba seller or to the alcoholic drink seller a certificate duly attested to by said physician showing that such person or persons, male or female is/are allowed to drink.


    Section 3

    PENALTY: Any person or persons, male or female, under 21 years of age found violating any provision of this ordinance, shall be fined not less than five pesos (P5.00) and not more than twenty five pesos (P25.00), or an imprisonment of not less than five (5) days, and not more than ten (10) days, or both upon the discretion of the court.


    Section 4

    Any ordinance inconsistent with any provisions of this ordinance is hereby replaced.


    Section 5

    EFFECTIVITY: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
