AN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS “CURFEW HOURS ORDINANCE”, TO PROHIBIT ANY PERSON OR PERSONS UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ROAM OR GO AROUND OR LOITER AROUND THE TOWN AFTER 10:00 O”CLOCK AT NIGHT AND TO PROHIBIT STUDENTS OF CAMIGUIN HIGH SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS TO ROAM OR GO AROUND OR LOITER AROUND THE TOWN AFTER 7:30 O’CLOCK IN THE NIGHT.
Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin subprovince, Misamis Oriental, that:
Section 1
No person or persons, male or female under 21 years of age are permitted to roam or go around or loiter around the town after 10:00 o’clock at night.
Section 2
No student, male or female of Camiguin High School, and Elementary and Primary School Pupil is permitted to roam or go around or loiter around the town after 7:30 O’clock at night during school days.
Section 3
Person or persons, male or female, found violating any provision of the said ordinance, except upon sufficient or legal cause or reasonable ground shall be fined not less than Five Pesos (P5.00),, and not more than Twenty-Five Pesos (P25.00), or both upon the discretion of the courts, except the courts finds legal excuses.
Section 4
Any ordinance in consistent with any provision of this Ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 5
This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
