1985 ORDINANCE NO. 3

”AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 19 SERIES OF 1972 KNOWN AS CURFEW HOUR ORDINANCE.”


Section 1

No person (s) shall be permitted to roam around whether on vehicle or not or loiter around or stay in any public places for drinking spray within the municipality from 9:00 o’clock pm to 3:00 o’clock am the following day except on emergency cases where an individual is necessarily be moving from his home to another place for a very important errand or from his residence to the hospital, or to the Office of the PC/INP or to the church for religious services, or in cases of travelers who shall be travelling from other places during the curfew hours due to the delay of his/her journey.


Section 2

Fishermen, fish vendors and other like peddlers who in the course of their profession are necessarily be out of their residence during the curfew hours shall be obliged to secure from the Office of the Municipal Mayor a permit and/or clearance to identify them of their professions or line of livelihood where they could be exempted from the provisions of this ordinance; Provided, however, that in instances where they will be caught roaming or loitering around the municipality not in line with the practice of their professions the said person(s) shall be deemed to have violated this Ordinance.


Section 3

Violation of this ordinance shall be fined by not less than One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) but not more than Three Hundred Pesos (P300.00) or an imprisonment of not less than 15 days but not more than 30 days or both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the Court.


Section 4

This Ordinance shall take effect 10 days after its approval.
