AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANYBODY TO POSSES OR OWN A SLINGSHOT, LOCALLY KNOWN AS “TIRADOR”.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman Camiguin, in its regular session, the above-entitled ordinance:
Section 1
This ordinance shall be known as slingshot ordinance of 1997.
Section 2
Anybody in this municipality shall be prohibited to possess or own a slingshot, locally known as “tirador”.
Section 3
Penalty. Any violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall subject the violator to a fine of P300.00, or an imprisonment of fifteen (15) days, or both, at the discretion of the court.
Section 4
Repealing Clause. Any ordinance or parts thereof, inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed and/or rescinded.
Section 5
Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect upon its dissemination.
