The Catarman Traffic Code of 2023 (Ordinance No. 28) establishes a comprehensive framework for traffic management in the Municipality of Catarman, Camiguin. It regulates the operation of all vehicles, with specific franchising and routing provisions for motorelas, tricycles, and habal-habals (highlanders) overseen by newly created regulatory boards (MTOB and CHB). The code designates specific traffic routes, one-way streets, and parking zones to organize flow. Furthermore, it mandates safety measures such as speed limits and helmet use, while imposing a schedule of fines and penalties for traffic violations to ensure road safety and order.
