AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE THE OWNER OR MANAGER OF A MOVIE SHOW TO PROVIDE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER SUITABLE FOR MOVIE SHOWS IN THE BUILDING WHERE THE MOVIE IS SHOWN.
Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin, that:
Section 1
Any movie owner or manager who may stage a movie show within this jurisdiction, either in a private building or in a building intended for public gathering, is required to provide a fire extinguisher suitable for movie shows to be placed within the building while the movie is going on.
Section 2
That upon applying for a permit to stage a show, the owner or manager of a movie must present to the office issuing the permit the fire extinguisher.
Section 3
Any movie owner or manager found staging a movie show without a fire extinguisher within the building while the show is going on shall be fined in the amount of not more than fifty pesos and not less than thirty pesos and or a imprisonment of not more than fifteen days and not less than ten days, or both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
Section 4
Any ordinance whose provision/provisions is/are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 5
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
