1974 ORDINANCE NO. 16

AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE MANAGER HOW TO SUBSCRIBE THE ENJOYMENT OF ELECTRIC CURRENT FOR LIGHTING A HOUSE FROM THE CATARMAN ELECTRIFICATION.


Be it ordained by the Municipal Council of Catarman, Camiguin, now assembled that:


Section 1

Any person who desires to install electrical wiring in his/her house shall first apply to the office of the Municipal Mayor.


Section 2


After the installation of electrical wiring is finished and ready for use, the applicant shall inform the office of the Municipal Mayor that the installation is ready for inspection by the person duly authorized to inspect but shall first pay to the office of the municipal treasurer the amount of five peso as inspection fee, together with his/her deposit off ten pesos.


Section 3

That the deposit of ten pesos is subject to be returned to the depositor-subscriber any time he/she desires to have his/her connection of electric light current out-off. Provided, however, the depositor-subscriber has not delinquency in the payment of his/her lights.


Section 4

Every electric current consumer shall pay the following rates, to wit:


FOR FLAT RATE: FLOURESCENCE LAMP:

For every flourescence of 10 watts       P2.50/month

For every fluorescence of 20 watts       P5.00/month

For every fluorescence of 40 watts       P10.00/month


FOR BULB FLAT RATE:

For every bulb of 15 watts              P2.50/month

For every bulb of 25 watts              P5.00/month

For every bulb of 50 watts              P10.00/month

For every bulb of 100 watts             P20.00/month


Section 5

Any current subscriber who desires to consume two hundred kilowatt hour shall already use electric meter and shall pay the following rates, to wit:

From 1 to 15 kilowat hour consumed           P10.00/month

From 16 to 25 kilowat hour consumed          P8.00 per kilo wat

From 26 and more kilowatt hour consumed      .60 Cents per kilowatt


Section 6

That every current consumer shall pay the use of electric light during the first five days of each month and if he/she failed to pay up to the end of the month his/her connection from the main line shall be cut-off.


Section 7

That if the electric current consumer whose connection has been cut-off desires to re-connect his line shall comply first all the requirements as provided for in Section 1 and 2 of this ordinance.


Section 8

That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
