1989 ORDINANCE NO. 15

AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE PRICES OF THE DIFFERENT CLASSES OF FISH, PORK AND BEEF. AND LIVE CHICKEN.


Section 1

This ordinance shall be known as Price Control Ordinance of 1989.


Section 2

The following is the classification of fish:


FIRST CLASS:


1.  Tangigue                7. Saguisihon

2.  Mansa                    8. Kontol

3.  Malasugue             9. Liplipan

4.  Mayamaya             10. Anaan

5.  Malapunte              11. Inggatan

6.  Malag                     12. Mangangat


Second Class


1. Bariles                     9. Rumpi

2. Kitong                     10. Tumpi

3. Katambak               11. Dugso

4. Pugapo                   12. Bagis

5. Sulinaw                   13. Bodbod

6. Hagijos                   14. Tarakito

7. Danggit                   15. Sawasig

8. Lunab                     16. Kabalyas


THIRD CLASS:


1. Balo                              9. Malansi

2. Budlis                           10. Pacol

3. Kutob                            11. Molmol

4. Bodloy                          12. Pinyapinya

5. Tulingan                        13. Espada

6. Dalwang                        14. Mag

7. Tabas                            15. Balila

8.  Amamangpang             16. Guntinggunting


FOURTH CLASS:


1.  Amag                            4. Octopus

2.  Squids                          5. Others of similar class

3.  Tilapia



Section 3

The maximum price of fish:


First class               P  35.00/kl.

Second Class             30.00/kl.

Third class                  15.00/kl.


Section 4

The maximum price of meat is as follows:


A. Pork:

1. Lean meat                            P 40.00/kl

2. Meat mixed with bones            35.00/kl.


B. Beef:

1. Lean meat                               P  45.00/kl.

2. Meat mixed with bones                40.00/kl.


C. Live Chicken                        P  25.00/kl.


Section 5

Aboard should be put up for the information of the public concerned and mutilating the board is an act of vandalism.


Section 6

Penalty. Any violation of this ordinance shall subject the violator to a fine of not more than five hundred (P500.00) pesos, but not less than one hundred (P100.00) pesos, or an imprisonment of not more than two (2) months, but not less than ten (10) days, or both, at the discretion of the court.


Section 7

All ordinance or parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance is accordingly modified.


Section 8

Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after approval.
