AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING PAYMENT FOR RENTALS OF ROOMS AND STALLS, IN THE PUBLIC MARKET, OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATARMAN, CAMIGUIN.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman, Camiguin, in its regular session, the above-entitled ordinance:
Section 1
This ordinance shall be known as Public Market Rental Fee Ordinance of 1997.
Section 2
There shall be imposed a rental fee of P10.00/day, for every room, in the public market of the municipality of Catarman.
Section 3
There shall be imposed rental fee of every stall in the public market of the municipality of Catarman:
a) Rental fee for permanent stalls (concrete) P 3.35/day
b) Rental fee for temporary stall (ordinary) P 2.00/day
Section 4
Penalty. Any violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than one thousand (P1,000.00) pesos, or an imprisonment of not less than forty (40) days, or both, at the discretion of the court. Failure to pay the rental fee, for a period of sixty (60) days shall mean ejection from the establishment.
Section 5
Repealing Clause. All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed and/or rescinded.
Section 6
This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
