AN ORDINANCE LEVYING MUNICIPAL LICENSE FEE TO ANY PERSON OR PERSONS OR ANY LEVYING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCOVERING AND LOOKING ANTIQUE ARTICLES WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATARMAN, CAMIGUIN AND TO PROVIDE PENALTY THEREOF.
BE IT ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan, Catarman, Camiguin,:
Section 1
It is unlawful for any person or persons or entity to dig or excavate the grounds within the jurisdiction of this Municipality for the purpose of discovering and looking for antique articles without the permit from the Office of the Mayor.
Section 2
That any person or persons or entity who dig or excavate the grounds for the purpose of discovering or finding antique articles should first secure a permit from the Office of the Municipal Mayor the license fee of which is the amount of P20.00.
Section 3
That it will be unlawful for the finder of antique articles to sell give or dispose of his discovery to another person or entity without first informing the Municipal Mayor of such discovery the disposition of which depends upon the Municipal Mayor and the finder but it is understood that the finder is always entitled to ½ of his discovery.
Section 4
That any person or persons or entity violating this ordinance shall be imposed a fine of not less than P300.00 as minimum and P1,000.00 as maximum or an imprisonment of not less than one month and not more than 6 months or both at the discretion of the court.
Section 5
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
