    1971 ORDINANCE NO. 1

    AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PASSAGE OF PASSENGER CARS WITHIN THE POBLACION OF CATARMAN, CAMIGUIN AND PROVIDING PENALTY THEREOF.


    Be it ordained by the Municipal council of Catarman, Camiguin that:


    SECTION 1

    That all passenger vehicles, such as AC. PUB., PUB AND PU. Shall follow the route of travel as follows, to wit:


    (A)  All passenger card such as AC., PUB, PUG., and Pu., who shall travel from Mambajao to Catarman, via Mahinog, Guinsiliban and Sagay upon reaching the Poblacion at Catarman shall make a right turn to Emeterio Jacot st, then left turn at Hipolito Alongg Street, then left turn to Gregorio Basmayor St. then right turn to the way leading the plaza, left turn at Patricio Basa Street, and right turn at the National Road, to the market.


    (B)  All passenger cars mentioned in paragraph (A) in Section 2 of this ordinance who shall travel from Catarman to Mambajao, via Sagay, Guinsiliban, and Mahinog, from the public Market at Catarman shall have left turn at Macario Gemino Street, then right turn at Hipolito Along Street, then right turn at Patricio Basa Street, and left turn to the plaza and shall have ten minutes stop. (Ordinance no. 3, series of 1969)Then proceeding its way, shall make right turn at Gregorio Basmayor Street toward the National Road, then left turn at the National Road facing toward Sagay.


    (C)  All passenger cars herein enumerated who shall travel from Catarman to Mambajao, Via Looc, Lawigan, Bonbon and Agoho starting at the public market at Catarman, shall pass the following route of travel:

    From the public market at Catarman, shall make a left turn at Macario Gemino Street, then right turn at Hipolito Along Street then right turn at Gregorio Basmayor Street, then right turn to the way leading the plaza and shall have a ten minutes stop in the plaza. ( Ordinance no. 3, Series of 1969): then proceeding its way, shall turn left at Patricio Basa Street, then right turn at the National Road facing the market, then proceed its way.


    SECTION 3

     Any violation made by drivers in any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined in the amount of twenty pesos and or imprisonment of five days, at the discretion of the court.


    SECTION 4

     All ordinances of similar in nature of this ordinance whose provisions are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.


    SECTION 5

    This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
