Section 1

The municipal road, otherwise known as Governor Gregorio Pelaez St. and in front of the Public Market known as Zenon G. Murillo Memorial Public Market, shall be the parking place of buses, jeepneys and motorela for hire;

Section 2

Transportation for hire mentioned in Section 1 hereof, parking in other place shall be illegal;

Section 3

Parking, is waiting for passengers;

Section 4

Parking place, means the place where the vehicles shall wait for passengers;

Section 5

Transportation for hire like motorela shall pay P.50 a day for parking; jeepneys P.75 and buses P1.00;

Section 6

Buses and jeepneys coming from any place outside of Catarman shall go direct to the specific parking place, while going around the town is prohibited;

Section 7

Penalty: Any driver or conductor who refuses to pay the parking fee shall be fine not less than twenty pesos (P20) nor more than fifty pesos (P50), or an imprisonment of not less than ten days nor more than thirty days or both at the discretion of the court.

Section 8

Vehicles parking on other places other than the designated parking place shall suffer a penalty provided in Section 7 hereof.

Section 9

Effectivity: This ordinance shall take effect on May 15, 1979.
