AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE DEAD-END CLOSED PORTION OF RAÑIN STREET, E. JACOT STREET, RAFOLS BROTHERS STREET, 1ST SANGGUNIANG BAYAN STREET ANDE JACOT BROTHERS STREET AS MULTI-PURPOSE PARK AND PAROLA PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Catarman, Camiguin in its regular session the above-captioned Ordinance:
Section 1
This Ordinance shall be known as the Multi-purpose and Parola Park of Poblacion, Catarman, Camiguin.
Section 2
Location of Proposed Park
The following dead-end closed streets are hereby declared to be developed into Multi-purpose and Parola Park:
a) Multi-purpose park
a.1 P. Rañin Street
a.2 E. Jacot Street
a.3 Rafols Brothers Street
a.4 F. Dugenio Street
a.5 1st Sangguniang Bayan Street
b) Parola park
b.1 Jacot Brothers Street
Section 3
Uses
a) The multi-purpose park shall be used as recreational area of the public.
b) Emergency docking area for pumpboats/small boats during bad weather or occurrence of typhoons or storms.
c) Parola park shall be developed for the establishment of a lighthouse – a device for reference of fishermen and sea navigators during nighttime.
Section 4
Funds for Development
a) The funds for development of the multipurpose park shall come from any available development fund of the municipality or from any national government agencies, whichever available.
b) The funds for the development of the parola park shall come from the donations of the Camiguinian USA, a non-government organization based in USA represented by its President Raul A. Jacot, that signifies it intention to finance the project to help the fishermen of Catarman.
Section 5
Effectivity Clause.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
